Replace the
worn out or defective tyres immediately
In addition to checking the pressure of your caravan
tyres every other time you’re about to set off, it’s good to check it every few
weeks when the caravan is in storage. Upon realizing that the tread of all or
one of your caravan tyres has fallen below the recommended minimum, you need to
replace them immediately with new ones from your trusted caravan parts dealer. Also,
if you discovered that the wear in your tyres seems uneven, you need to find
out the underlying cause and rectify it before changing the tyres.
You need to keep in mind that tyres may age before
they can even wear out especially if your caravan doesn’t cover loads of
distance. Degeneration of tyres due to advanced age can lead to blowouts. Therefore,
it’s advisable to change your caravan tyres every few years even if they
haven’t shown signs of wearing out especially if the caravan isn’t out on the
